Apparatuur met IP-X7 norm kan 30 minuten lang overleven op één meter diepte in water.
Kanaal 31 (157,550 & 162,150 MHz) kun je zelf op de Marifoon JMC RT 2500 DSC / ATIS programmeren.
Dit kanaal wordt in Nederland gebruikt voor de verbindingen tussen de jachthavens en de
pleziervaart en mag bijgevolg enkel worden gebruikt binnen de Nederlandse territoriale
wateren.

Deze compacte marifoon beschikt over ATIS en DSC klasse: D beide door middel van het toetsenbord van de microfoon te programmeren.
